The Wisconsin Angel Network (WAN) was created to build angel network capital capacity
throughout Wisconsin in order to increase the number and amount of seed-stage equity
investments in Wisconsin companies. They have developed a Resource Page specifically for entrepreneurs.

The Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Network (WEN) provides integrated statewide support
to ntrepreneurs in all industries and developmental stages. WEN has more than
50 access points and provides assistance with: Starting a business; Finance and
accounting; Marketing; Product development; Business plans; Intellectual property;
Competitive research.
Wisconsin Department of Commerce Bureau of
Entrepreneurship
The Wisconsin Department of Commerce provides entrepreneurial assistance for small
businesses, advises small businesses on Federal Clean Air Act compliance issues
and staffs the Small Business Ombudsman and Technology Transfer functions.
University of Wisconsin Office of Corporate Relations Entrepreneur's Center
The New Business Start-Up Initiative is sponsored by the Office of Corporate Relations
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It is a nine-point program to help create,
support and sustain new start-up companies from the university. The program is ?a
reflection of the fact that this campus has tremendous potential among its faculty,
staff and students to form new businesses that will create new jobs and contribute
to a stronger Wisconsin economy,? says Charles Hoslet, managing director of OCR.

(DFI) Angel Capital Resource Center
The DFI Angel Capital Resource Center, a DFI sponsored portal, was designed to support
Wisconsin's entrepreneurial spirit by providing entrepreneurs and angel investors
a "yellow pages" directory of resources which can assist in making equity investments
in early stage companies.
