Sponsorship Opportunities

Support for the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest is drawn from generous individuals and organizations from around the state. Support for the competition is a critical function of the contest’s success. Like other states, Wisconsin is learning to compete in a global, knowledge-based economy.  By helping cultivate an entrepreneurial climate in Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest augments the state’s efforts to create an economic environment that values innovation and risk-taking.

With sponsorship opportunities available for both individuals and organizations, we hope you will consider joining our sponsors today.

Corporate Sponsorships

Corporate sponsorships are flexible and can range from $1,000 to $50,000.  Sponsorships can be earmarked for specific BPC events from educational seminars that occur throughout the contest to the awards banquet, or it can go directly into BPC prize fund.

Your organization’s investment in the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest can be made by mail through the Wisconsin Technology Council and may be tax deductible based on the Tech Council’s 501c3 federal tax status.

Individual Sponsorships

Similar to corporate sponsorships, individual sponsorships are flexible and can range from $100 to $50,000 and can be made solely at the discretion of the individual. Individual sponsorships go directly into the BPC prize fund. No portion of your cash prize sponsorship is ever used for administrative costs associated with the contest. All cash prize sponsorships go directly to BPC winners.

Your individual investment in the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest can be made online or by mail through the Wisconsin Technology Council and may be tax deductible based on the Tech Council’s 501c3 federal tax status.
